Our Morning Reset: My Experience with the Medical Medium Morning Protocol ✨





At Green Farm Juicery, everything we create and bring to you, comes from trial and error in the kitchen, deep research and believing it serves a greater purpose to our bodies. We are all bombarded with an overwhelming amount of information when it comes to our health. Fad diets, GLP-1s and other pharmaceuticals, high protein, intermittent fasting, eating for strength training, yes to red meat, no to red meat, limit fruits, limit alcohol, no alcohol, count calories, don’t count them, count macros and so on.  

I have leaned in to so many trends through the years and as we were building Green Farm, it was then that I decided to trust my own inner wisdom to take care of my body. If something didn’t feel right for me, if it didn’t digest well, if my body didn’t respond with positive markers, I accepted that would not be the plan for me.

Through research for Green Farm, I discovered Anthony William’s work. There was so much information, I wasn’t ready to receive it all at that time, but I did take in the morning celery juice.  I have now been drinking celery juice daily for 8 years and I will scream it from the roof tops, this stuff is magic! It manages my bloating, digestion, hydration at a cellular level and we haven’t even gotten to all the healing it gives to the organs, blood, adrenals, lymph nodes and everything else!

Over the past two years, my husband and I moved our family, at about the same time perimenopause was presenting more symptoms than ever, two of my daughters were far away at college and my husband was diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer (his prognosis is excellent!!). Life was coming in pretty hard and the universe heard my plea for help and the Medical Medium was everywhere I turned. I saw it in reels, books, people talking about it and I recognized the sign and started the deep dive!

While we waited for my husband’s test results and scheduled surgery, we both took a pause and 9 days to do the369 Liver Cleanse. I will go into detail about that at another time, but it was the path. After completing 9 days of no fat, lots of smoothies, juices, detox salads, steamed vegetables, teas…the physical changes were undeniable (skin, water weight reduction, pure energy). This life changing experience prompted us to take the next step and fully take on the daily morning cleanse and to eliminate the “no foods”.  The no foods feed viruses in our bodies and prevent any healing to occur.

Why Mornings Matter

The liver does its deepest cleansing work overnight and continues detoxing well into the morning. Because of this, noon is the earliest that I recommend introducing fats if you’re working on healing and supporting your body. 

Consuming fats first thing in the morning can slow down the digestive process, inhibiting the body’s ability to detoxify overnight waste.  

By opening the mornings to lemon water, celery juice, Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie and unlimited fruit (YES, you heard me right!!) It allows for better nutrient absorption and aids the body’s natural healing process.  

Step One: Lemon Water

The first thing I reach for every morning is lemon water. It’s simple, but powerful. Lemon water supports hydration and gently aids the liver in flushing out toxins. This simple drink is alkalizing and simulates bile production. The vitamin C in lemon assists the liver and promotes healthy liver function.

Always enjoy lemon water (½ lemon to 16 oz of water) cold, at room temperature, but never hot! I like to drink our Green Farm Morning Detox because I know it’s pure and gives me an extra boost of immunity and anti-inflammatory properties with the ginger.

Step Two: Celery Juice (about 30 minutes after finishing lemon water)

Next comes celery juice. Celery juice has a way of doing what nothing else can. It supports digestion, replenishes mineral salts, and continues the cleansing process started overnight.

According to Medical Medium, these are the 10 health benefits of pure celery juice:

  1. Kills epstein-barr and shingles virus
  2. Neutralizes and flushes toxins out of the liver
  3. Critical for chronic acid reflux
  4. Helps restore adrenals
  5. Fights autoimmune disease
  6. Helps eradicate Strep Bacteria
  7. Contains undiscovered sodium cluster salts that are critical for the brain
  8. Powerful weapon against SIBO & Bloating
  9. Brings down toxic liver heat
  10. Raises hydrochloric acid and helps the liver produce bile

Step Three: Fruit First

Fruit is best enjoyed on an empty stomach and always without fats. In fact, combining fruit with fat can slow digestion and interfere with the cleansing process.

Most mornings, I’ll have half a small watermelon 🍉 after my celery juice. It’s hydrating, refreshing, and incredibly gentle on the system.  This is just my first morning snack!

Step Four: The Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie

Sometime mid-morning, I’ll have my heavy metal detox smoothie. This smoothie is designed to help sweep heavy metals from the body, something we’re exposed to daily through food, water, and our environment. Because exposure is ongoing, consistency matters. That’s why this smoothie is part of my daily routine. Here are the ingredients and why they are so important to consume every single day of your life!

  1. Spirulina - This blue green algae draws out heavy metals from the brain, nervous system and liver.
  2. Barley Grass Juice Powder -  Prepares the metals for complete absorption by the spirulina. This nutritive grass can draw heavy metals from the spleen, intestinal track, pancreas, thyroid and reproduction system.  
  3. Cilantro - This herb goes deep and will go after that hard to reach mercury!
  4. Wild Blueberries - They draw out heavy metals from brain tissue and reverse oxidative damage!
  5. Atlantic Dulse - This seaweed binds to lead, aluminum, copper and nickel. It also goes deep into the intestinal track seeking out mercury!

This smoothie is completed with fresh orange juice, coconut water, banana and any other fruit of choice (I love pitaya in mine!)

Why We Delay Fat

The longer you wait to incorporate fats (and you can decide not to eat fat altogether) the more time for healing and reducing inflammation is at work. 

By Noon: Nourish and Balance

By noon, once the morning cleansing window has passed, you can begin incorporating healthy fats, lean proteins, and plenty of greens.

For me, lunch is often a large bowl of fruit with toasted oats, simple, satisfying, and energizing. The Medical Medium has given me permission to eat as much fruit as I want and I take full advantage!  My fruit bowls usually consist of 1 diced apple, 2 kiwis, pomegranate seeds, blackberries and whatever else I have on hand! 

Dinner is typically Mediterranean-style: lentils, a big salad, chicken, and nourishing whole foods that feel grounding and sustaining.

Real Life Results

This routine has served me, my husband and my daughter incredibly well. We genuinely have never felt this good, more energy, better digestion, clearer minds, and a deeper sense of balance. I share this not from theory, but from experience.

A Final Note

The Medical Medium protocol also includes a “no foods” list, which is an important guide if you’re serious about supporting your liver and overall health. It’s not about restriction- it’s about creating space for your body to heal.
