GREAT QUESTION!
We've got answers to frequently asked questions below.
Question: Are all your ingredients organic?
99% of our ingredients are organic, with 100% transparency. We make every effort to source only organic, local ingredients. In the instances something is simply not available organically, customers are notified in store. Any non-organic item is flagged allowing the customer to opt out of that ingredient.
Question: Are all offerings at Green Farm gluten-free?
100% yes!
Question: Is everything at Green Farm vegan?
You will not find any meat, dairy or eggs in our kitchen. We do offer honey and a collagen protein powder. You can always opt out of those items!
Question: Do you provide calorie counts and macros for your menu offerings?
Our research and experience guide us to focus on the nutrient density of food rather than counting calories. Not all calories are equal, our focus at Green Farm is instead on colors and serving our bodies with organic, whole fruits and plants. By reducing an apple to 90 calories, 19 grams of sugar and 25 carbohydrates its complete value is diminished. Instead, we prefer the focus to be on the apple's richness in vitamin C, potassium, antioxidants, and fiber.
Question: Do you add any sweeteners or fillers to your juices?
NO! Our juices are 100% juice. We do not add water nor do we soak the vegetables, to increase yield.
We cut no corners!
Question: What is HPP?
HPP is high-pressure processing. Juices in the grocery store aisle are fully pasteurized, stripped of all nutritional value. Many juice bars cold press their juices and then put them through the HPP process, which pasteurizes them using pressure. It provides a shelf life of about 30 days and many claim it is just as healthy as cold-pressed juice. Many studies have proved otherwise, in measuring living enzymes after HPP, they are diminished.
Question: Does Green Farm Juicery use HPP?
Absolutely not. We make our juices in small batches daily in our kitchen and seal them immediately into airtight bottles. The shelf life is about 5 days, every item in store is labeled with a consume by date. Juicing is a very labor intensive process and truly is a labor of love. We ourselves would not drink juices treated with any pressure or pasteurized process and would never compromise our quality for our customers.
Question: Do you cater?
Yes! Contact your local Green Farm for all special orders and requests!
